Bio

Jim Ashworth, CPC has been employed in the professional placement industry since 1990. His role as Vice-President of Marshall Career Service highlights his demonstrated areas of expertise, providing service to his clients and assisting in the development of his teammates.

Prior to joining Marshall Career Service, Jim enjoyed 18 years as the Vice President and National Sales Manager for an international manufacturer and distributor of building materials. Tasked with the responsibility of identifying, hiring and training a staff of over 2500 employees he entered this profession with many of the same ideas and beliefs that shape the hiring programs of his client companies. His positive belief in the concept of professional employment services combined with a negative actual experience with many firms led Jim on a journey that resulted in Jim joining Marshall Career Service nearly a decade ago.

Ashworth and his teammates at Marshall Career Service are consistently recognized in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex as the leader in the placement of Accounting and Financial professionals. For the past 5 years, Jim has been recognized as the #1 Cash-in producer in the highly competitive Metroplex Association of Personnel Consultants (MAPC).

Jim is a graduate of the University of Texas - Arlington. His wife, Nancy, is also employed at Marshall Career Service as Director of Training.They are the parents of three grown children, three gandchildren, and both enjoy golf.
