Bio

Ken Friedman, Chief Executive Officer of The Primary Group, Inc., has been in the executive search industry since 1980. Ken is a graduate of Syracuse University with a degree in Accounting. In 1988, Mr. Friedman formed what was then called Primary Management Group in Houston, Texas, focusing on developing distribution teams for asset management firms in both their retail and institutional divisions. He moved the firm to Orlando, Florida in December 1989 and renamed it The Primary Group, Inc. Based in Longwood, a northern suburb of Orlando, the firm has grown steadily and now has expanded its divisions to include brokerage, investment products, and finance and accounting. He enjoys executive coaching and has spent over ten years in The Strategic Coach program improving his entrepreneurial and coaching skills.
