Doug Coley, Senior Vice President of Adkins and Associates, has over 20 years of experience in executive search recruiting. Prior to joining Adkins and Associates, Doug served in manufacturing management with Milliken and Company. Since joining Adkins and Associates in 1986, Doug has internationally placed executives within the apparel, fabric, fiber, and non-woven industries. He has completed searches in the areas of sales, marketing, design, manufacturing, engineering, and finance. Doug specializes in training and developing processes to improve the search experience for client companies and candidates. Since 1997, Doug has been a proud member of the Pinnacle Society, the nation’s premier consortium of top recruiters within the permanent placement and search industries.
In his spare time, Doug enjoys serving as the Founder and Managing Director for the Doug Coley Foundation for Leukemia Research, which has raised over $205,000 for Leukemia Research at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center through it’s annual golf tournament. Doug is an avid supporter of Appalachian State University’s academic and athletic programs, a Regional Advisory Board Member for the Comprehensive Cancer Center at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, and an active member of his local church. He resides in North Carolina with his wife, Nancy, of 30 years, and their two children.
