Bio

Garen Haddad joined the personnel services industry in 1993. After receiving his undergraduate degree in Personnel Management from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL in 1992, he worked for SYSCO for one year in operations. Mr. Haddad began his career as a Search Consultant with ROMAC & Associates, a national search firm specializing in the placement of Accounting and Finance professionals. In early 1994, the firm became known as Gateway Group Personnel, capitalizing on their 12 year presence in the Greater Memphis/Mid-south market under local ownership, providing permanent & temporary staffing services to many of the region’s top employers. He has maintained an active desk while managing the firm’s permanent search division, and in January 2007 was announced President of the firm. Married to Cindy, they enjoy two beautiful sons, Carsten and Logan. A “second generation” recruiter, his mother and father began the Memphis-based ROMAC franchise in 1983. Mr. Haddad has been active in Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Greater Memphis since 1998. He currently serves on the local chapter Board of Directors, having served Board Chair in 2006.
